Time Off in the City of Angel (Faith and Cordelia)

Faith was taking some time off from the potential slayers and being away from Buffy. She needed some time on her own again. While she enjoyed the new sense of family, she wasn't quite adjusted to it yet and she needed some time to drift again. She didn't really bring anything with her so she decided to grab a drink at the bar.

She walked into the bar and sat down. "I'll take a double scotch on the rocks...and a glass of milk, please." she smiled in memory of the Mayor. She always had a glass of milk with whatever she ate or drank. It was a force a habit.

Cordelia had been in the bar for a little over a half an hour as she decided to have a drink to herself. She stood up from where she was sitting to approach the bar, when she saw Faith there.

"Well well well, look what we have here." she smirked.

She looked up as the bartender brought her drinks. "Cordelia?" she asked to make sure she had it right.

She nodded.

"The one and only. Faith, right?" she asked to make sure.

She nodded. "That's me." she smiled, sipping her milk first.

Cordelia nodded as she placed her drink order.

"So what brings you to the bar...to drink milk?"

She shot a glare at Cordelia. "None of your business." she snapped a little.

Cordelia shrugged.

"Okay then." she said as her drink came out and she took a sip.

"you still working for Angel?" she asked, changing the subject. She finished her milk and then started on her scotch.

Cordelia shook her head.

"I haven't seen him, so no."

She nodded. "That's cool." she nodded. "You ever gonna go back to Sunnydale?" she asked curiously.

"Not recently."

"So you're never gonna go back? Ever?" she quirked.

"Possibly, but not right now."

She nodded. "That's cool." she shrugged as she began sipping her scotch.

"What about you? Have you been back?"
